FIGHT SPORTS® PICKS UP JOSHUA-PARKER RIGHTS
FIGHT SPORTS®, the channel owned by New York-based fight sports production and distribution company CSI Sports, is to show the March 31st fight between boxing heavyweights Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker, after picking up rights to the bout.
FIGHT SPORTS® will exclusively air the world title fight, which is taking place in Cardiff on 31 March, in over 30 countries.
In the lead up to the fight, the network will be showcasing exclusive content from both fighters.
The deal was struck between FIGHT SPORTS and promoters Matchroom Boxing and Duco Events.
FIGHT SPORTS® becomes the latest broadcaster to acquire rights to the fight following a deal earlier this week for DAZN, the OTT streaming platform owned by digital sports content and media group Perform.
DAZN will exclusively air the fight in Germany, Austria and Canada, while the event will also be streamed non-exclusively on DAZN in Switzerland.
