FIGHT SPORTS® TO SHOW COTTO SWAN SONG IN 50 COUNTRIES
FIGHT SPORTS®, the channel owned by New York-based fight sports production and distribution company CSI Sports, has acquired rights to show Miguel Cotto’s final bout tomorrow.
The six-times world champion from Puerto Rico will end his 16-year career by defending his WBO light-middleweight title against Sadam Ali at Madison Square Garden, New York.
Fight Sports® will broadcast the fight live in more than 50 countries where it has carriage deals in place, including the likes of Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Spain, Belgium, Germany and sub-Saharan Africa.
Other bouts on the Fight Sports® schedule for this month include: Jeff Horn’s first defense of his WBO welterweight world title live from his home country of Australia on 13 December; Billy Joe Saunders’ defense of his WBO middleweight title against former world champion David Lemieux from Montreal on 16 December; and ‘Glory Redemption’, an international kickboxing event, on 9 December.
